• Food, faith and friendship: Solidarity and care for neighbours and strangers addresses development’s socio-political relationships, exploring development as process and power. 
• Work and Worth: from labourers to volunteers and professionals focuses on the construction of development actors and subjects. 
• Development-making cultural heritage: music, mats and videos explores materiality as spaces and moments of development thinking and practice. 

These themes look backwards and forwards, both from, and between, the 1980s and the present day
